Irish and Chin, New York's most popular clash promotors, staged World Clash 2001 at Amazura. Competitors from JA were Bass Odyssey and Black Kat, Mighty Crown from Japan, King Tubbies from UK , and Poison Dart from Antigua. Hosted by The Warlord", Bounty Killer himself, this clash went on through many unusual rounds including a "no cuss" round and a "no forward" round. Although many would say that Mighty Crown played the best overall for the night, Bass Odyssey won in the dub fi dub segment, winning the title of World Clash winner. Defending champs , Kilimanjaro, were a no-show.
