Labor Day weekend got real hot in Brooklyn with a series of cultural activities starting from Thursday August 30 at the Brooklyn Museum of Art leading up to the 34th annual West Indian American Day Parade which transcended down Eastern Parkway on Sept 2. The past two years we had some treacherous thunder storms which let the multitude disperse for cover but this time the creator let his light shine and the good vibes flow.

For the most part I biked from one location to another because once Friday hits parking is the hardest things to get. For the people that hit the parade late or couldn't make it - I drilled my way through the crowd to bring you these snapshops of your favorite artists on the trucks. And if I miss who you were looking for maybe they weren't there. One love till next year.
