SINGLES ON VERDICT RHYTHM NOW AVAILABLE

The verdict is now in. One of the most anticipated dancehall rhythms of the year, “the verdict” is now officially released. The songs on the beat, which have been attracting favourable airplay over the past few months, are now commercially available to the record buying public.

Produced by Mark Hudson for Stone Cold Productions, “the verdict” features songs from the likes of CeCile, Danny English, Delly Ranks and Patchy,Sizzla, Beenie Man, Capleton, Frisco Kid, Buju Banton, Mr. Lex, ElephantMan, Merciless, Sean Paul and Richie Stephens, Tony Rebel, Cappacino, Silver Cat, Mad Anju, Tanto Metro and Devonte, Tony Curtis and GalaxyP, Goofy, Anthony Cruz and General B.

Hudson who debuted in 1999 with the “rhythm of the night” groove, which scored big with songs like “Leggo Di Bwoy” by Kip Rich and “Rhythm ofthe Night” by ARP, is no stranger to the music business. Influenced by the likes of Sly and Robbie and Danny Browne, Hudson started his Demo Productions in 1996. It was two years later that he launched Stone Cold. Since then, he has produced projects such as “Spring water”and “highway”. The “highway” project featured songs such as “Money” by Chuck Fender and Fiona among others. According to information gathered from playlists, the rhythm is currently receiving ample airtime on reggae stations across Europe.

“The verdict” looks ready to blaze the dancehalls as it features notonly up and coming acts, but already established recording artistes.
“This is a project that I think has a lot of potential. The artistes who recorded on the rhythm went all out for us. Beenie Man recorded his track in the presence of actor Steven Seagal while he was here in Jamaica, and from the way he was vibing it, it would appear as if wehave a hit on our hands”, Mr. Hudson said.

Some of the songs on the rhythm include “Bounce” (Danny English); “Valuable”(Sizzla); “Erase Your Mind” (Beenie Man); “Question” (Capleton); “Yard and Broad” (Buju Banton); “Crackers Gal” (Mr. Lex); “Fever” (Delly Ranks/Patchy);“Jacket” (Elephant Man); “Step Out” (CeCile); “In Your Eyes” (Sean Paul/RichieStephens); “I Don’t Care” (Tanto Metro and Devonte); and “Girls” (AnthonyCruz).
